Band

Our band is made up of a diverse group of musicians who seek to lead and serve the Body of Christ. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, we would love to find a place for you to serve.

Opportunities are available at each band position. An in-person meeting where we'll discuss your area(s) of interest, skill level, and availability is required prior to serving. To take your next step, fill out the Interest Form at the bottom of the page.

Band rehearses every Wednesday at 6pm in the Worship Center.

Audio + Video + Lighting

As we tell the story of Christ, this team of servant leaders aims to create an environment where the church can worship together. Areas for service include: Lighting, Sound, Computer Graphics, Video Direction, Video Production, Camera Operation, and Photography.

"I have experience." If you have experience serving in one of these areas, we would love to include you in our rotation of volunteers. As you fill out the Interest Form at the bottom of the page, let us know a bit more about your experience level.

"I'd love to learn one of these AVL positions." We love to learn (and teach) on the AVL Team. If you're interested in serving, but haven't had experience yet, there are "shadowing" opportunities available. As you shadow an experienced team member, they will give you real-time, hands-on experience as you learn your area of interest.

Worship Choir

The Worship Choir at Colonial Heights anchors every Night of Worship. Made up of men and women, young and old, this incredible group of volunteers lead with passion each and every time they gather.

Our choir gathers in 3 different "seasons" (Easter, Fall, Christmas). During these seasons, they work towards a Night of Worship and rehearse on Wednesdays at 6pm during the 6-8 weeks leading up to each event.

Orchestra

Throughout the year, our orchestra helps lead in Nights of Worship. Brass, woodwind, and string players at all levels of experience are welcome to join.

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 6pm during announced seasons throughout the year.
